Left - I was given some amazingly beautiful japanese motif cloths and I knew I had to make something out of them. A wallet pouch (~13.5cmx10cm) constructed using japanese boro stitching is the result. Right - This elliptical coin pouch was given to me by someone special while on a trip together. Unfortunately through wear and tear, the pull tap snapped one day, whilst other parts remained in good working condition. I could not bear to discard, much less store it away just for keepsake. I decided to replace the entire zipper, using YKK no less!

I am Drew and I enjoy using my hands to create art pieces which tell stories. From watercolour painting to picking up a needle to sew, these processes allow me to explore new ideas. There is immense satisfaction when these ideas come into fruition.
